LAFC have announced eight loan deals involving Las Vegas Lights FC. The announcement was made by the club on Friday via their website.
LAFC revealed that eight players namely Bryce Duke, Tomas Romero, Christian Torres, Cal Jennings, Danny Musovski, Mohamed Traore, Alvaro Quezada and Tony Leone will join Las Vegas Lights on loan ahead of the start of their league campaign in the USL Championship this weekend.
USL Championship for the 2021 season starts at a time that mls football has gone on an international break. LAFC have recorded just nine points from seven games in mls football this season after winning two and losing two of their first seven matches of the new season.
LAFC will return to mls football action on June 19 when they take on Houston Dynamo at home with a full capacity crowd expected at the Banc of California Stadium in Los Angeles.
In addition to the loan deals for the abovementioned players, LAFC also announced the signing of young Senegalese defender Mamadou Fall.
Fall had previously played for Montverde Academy in Florida before signing for mls football outfit LAFC. He has put pen to paper on a two-year contract with the option of another year that could take him to 2024 at the club. He is expected to link up with compatriot Mohamed Traore at LAFC though Traore was one of the eight players loaned to Las Vegas Lights FC as mentioned earlier. Fall might likely go out on loan to the same Las Vegas Lights team in the USL Championship in a bid to gather more footballing experience.
